Dear reader, it’s difficult to decide where to start…so many things have happened since I decided to go to Thailand!!! (of all places) for a life change holiday. I didn’t know whether to choose the Life Coaching or Counselling Retreat option. I just knew this was what I needed and it just all felt right for me, and guess what… I was right. I emailed Chrissy and she helped me sort everything out, flights, activities, transfers…everything.
I really didn’t know what to expect, making the decision to go was in itself a big step for me. Actually it felt huge at the time. Anyhow, I plucked up the courage and decided to take a leap of faith and I wasn’t disappointed. Let me tell you what was about to happen was way beyond what I expected!

Neither the words that I can write nor the ridiculous amount of gorgeous photos can really explain my time in Thailand. All I can say is that I can honestly say I have had by far the best experience and the best time of my life. That’s not only because of Thailand and the life change holiday but also because of the lovely Puripunn Hotel. Along side my sessions with Chrissy and my time with her and her amazing team, and Khun Son, the hotel is really just perfect. The people who work there are angels. Son, who does all the trips and airport runs is such a nice, gentle and positive person. He really made the country and Chiang Mai come to life for me, it’s an amazing place.
One thing I do know about myself is that I am really fussy and someone who knows her stuff. I know what I like and don’t like and if you get a chance to experience what I did I can highly recommend it to you. Because, trust me, there’s not a day that’ll go by that I will ever regret coming, it’s one of, if not, the best decisions I have ever made for myself.
I have learnt so much about myself in such a short space of time, Chiang Mai is a magical place, it really is. It isn’t like anywhere I have been before. People here are lovely, complete strangers really do smile at you for no reason, it’s not like in London where you get scowled at and everyone’s out for themselves. I have met some amazing people here and will be taking home such great memories, especially my sessions with Chrissy. She is one hell of a special lady.
If you ask me if I would do it all over again I would say yes and no… no, because I wouldn’t want to change a thing and to be honest I don’t really need to do it again and yes because I’d love to just live the magical adventure all over again! I’m gonna just really miss it all and will be back.
